Production Coordinator

The Production Coordinator is an organizational phenom! Key word? Organize! 2nd keyword? Prioritize! The PC works with the Producers and Production Management team to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage the work flow of the production area of focus and liaise and triage with other partnered departments. The PC provides materials and scheduling for the Artists.

Duties & Responsibilities

    SCHEDULING
  • Create breakdowns from scripts and animatics.
  • Work with the Production Manager to define, setup, and manage the schedule for on schedule completion of assigned tasks.
  • Facilitate communication between departments working on the film.

    TRACKING
  • Track artwork. Track Artists. Track their output. Track & Field. (Not really.)
  • Track the Line Producer. Where is she?? She's always running around somewhere...
  • Ensure artwork reviews and revisions are completed.
  • V-Board maintenance as needed.
  • Liaise with the Supervisors to ensure Shotgun standards and tracking are being maintained.

    COMMUNICATION
  • Lots and lots of communication. Up, down, sideways, outside. The PC must ensure communication lines are all open and that information is getting where it needs to go.

    OTHER
  • Gather and organize materials for client approval calls
  • Help to achieve and balance creative and operational goals of the project.
  • Review the show animatic weekly for continuity errrors.
  • Update the script to conform to the "as aired" show.
  • Strong attention to detail; set and achieve high professional standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience working on an animated production in an organizational capacity.
  • Ability to organize and manage individuals and teams.
  • Multitasking genius! With super strong communication skills!
  • A team player who has an interest in creating a positive and inspiring work environment, which through the hitting of milestones, will produce quality work.
  • Ability to "think outside the box", providing ideas and solutions to Producers which allows departmental work to stay on schedule and to continue to hit deadlines set out.
  • Experiencing with tracking.
  • Experience in Photoshop is a really great asset.

No. We are creators of 3D animation for direct-to-video, gaming cinematics, feature film... to name a few. We do have some wicked FX Artists though!
