matte painting These masterpieces can range from CG set extension to completely synthetic scenery. It requires artistry across several disciplines, including photography, photo manipulation and colour correction, CG modeling and surfacing, traditional painting skills...and sometimes the ability to hit the parking lot with a camera, some paint, and a squeegee.
